Windows 11 build 22468 in Dev channel with New Paint app; Chrome to get rounded corners

Wednesday September 29.

Microsoft has released Windows 11 build 22468 to users running Dev channel builds with a bunch of bug fixes. However, the recently announced Amazon Appstore and more are yet to be added.

Just over two weeks after releasing the experimental 0.46 version, Microsoft has now released 0.47 which re-introduces the highly requested 'Shortcut Guide' via holding the Win key.

Microsoft is seemingly working on a brand-new media player experience for Windows 11, according to a leaked screenshot. However, there is no guarantee that it will see the light of day.

A recent commit to the Chromium Gerrit indicates that work is underway to implement menus with rounded corners in Google Chrome to match the design language of Windows 11. The code is not yet final.

After teasing the updated Paint app earlier, Microsoft has finally started to roll it out to Dev channel Insiders today. The new Paint has been redesigned with the Windows 11 theme in mind, and more.

A GitHub dev has updated its Universal MediaCreationTool for Windows which now supports Windows 11. Interestingly, the new update skips TPM and system requirements checks on Windows 11.
