New Windows 11 Insider build - Windows 7 users must clean install Windows 11 - PrintNightmare patch can be bypassed

Microsoft has released Windows 11 beta channel build 22000.65, the first cumulative update for the OS. The update brings with it a bunch of bug fixes and improvements, but no new major features.

Windows 7 users can upgrade to Windows 11 but will need to perform a clean install — www.neowin.net

According to a FAQ document published by Lenovo, Windows 7 users will not be able to upgrade to Windows 11 directly and will need to do a fresh install if they plan to make a jump to Windows 11.
