Microsoft Weekly: Windows 11 SE, Defender and Loop leaks, and .NET Hot Reload backlash

In this week, we learned about some of Microsoft's unannounced projects such as Windows 11 SE, new Defender and Loop apps, and a Surface laptop. There were also some tensions with the .NET community.

Microsoft acknowledges network printing issues after a Windows 10 and Windows 11 update issued in October. Customers may experience errors preventing them from utilizing network printing.

This week we have a handful of launches to look forward to. The most notable is the Crew-3 Dragon which will take four astronauts up to the International Space Station following a delay.

This weekend's PC game deals include a whole lot of discounts for anything even remotely scary, a bundle for Sonic fans old and new, another Halloween-themed freebie from Epic, and more.

Recently, I interviewed Alan Wake's composer Petri Alanko and Remedy Entertainment's Director of Communications Thomas Puha. We talked about the game's music, licensing issues, and much more.

It appears that 2021 is the year of Edge on the Linux Desktop as the Yum repository for the browser now lists stable builds for Edge 95. Interestingly, Microsoft hasn't yet announced this officially.
