Microsoft announces the Surface Laptop 4 and Surface Headphones 2+, Chrome 90 is here

Today, Microsoft announced its newest laptop, the Surface Laptop 4. It now comes in Ice Blue, and of course, there are newer processors from both Intel and AMD that you can choose from.

Alongside the Surface Laptop 4, Microsoft is announcing a bunch of new peripherals, such as the Surface Headphones 2+, some new wired and wireless headsets, a webcam, and a speaker.

Today, Dell is announcing a refresh of pretty much the whole lineup of portable Inspiron PCs, including a new Inspiron 16 Plus, which packs 11th-gen H-series processors, and RTX 30 series graphics.

Google has released Chrome 90 and it comes with a new AV1 encoder, ability to copy-paste files from clipboard, support for new CSS properties, and enhancements to augmented reality APIs.

Analyst firm Canalys has published a new report showing a 55% increase in PC shipments in Q1. The numbers were led by Lenovo securing 25% of the market and was followed by HP, Dell, Apple and Acer.

Microsoft is rolling out a bunch of enhancements to the Approvals apps within Teams this month including the capability to e-sign approval requests, and create and customize new templates.

Twitter has announced that is opening an office in Ghana to establish its official presence in Africa. The aim is to invest in local communities and engage with them to fuel public conversation.
