Out of band update fix for Windows 11; Intel disables DX12 on Haswell; Android apps can be installed in Dev Channel

Microsoft has released a fix for apps that refuse to open following an expiration of a digitally signed certificate in Windows 11. For now, this fix is only available if you are a Windows Insider.

Intel's newest processors are getting its first graphics driver, version 30.0.100.9928, today, adding support for Windows 10 20H2 and newer, including Windows 11. There are known issues as well.

The capability to run Android apps in Windows 11 is now available for Dev Channel Insiders. That said, the usual caveats apply. It's a U.S.-only experience and only some apps are officially available.

Intel has published a workaround for Alder Lake CPUs on Windows 10 that were having issues with games' DRM, particularly Denuvo. The company has also added that a fix is ready and is rolling out.

Intel disabled DirectX 12 on its 4th Gen Core lineup dubbed Haswell via a graphics driver update. The company stated that this was done to mitigate a security bug that it found on these CPUs.
